B&B was appointed by Concorde BGW to undertake a multi-faceted refurbishment programme at The Crown, a prominent public house located in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. The works encompassed internal redecoration of the landlord’s private quarters, essential roof and chimney repairs, and full external painting and restoration.

Scope of Works

Internal painting and decorating to landlord’s accommodation, including surface preparation and finish application in accordance with client specifications
Roof repairs, including replacement of damaged tiles, leadwork restoration, and weatherproofing to prevent ingress
Chimney repairs, involving repointing, flaunching, and structural integrity checks
Full external decoration, including masonry painting, woodwork treatment, and metalwork coatings to enhance kerb appeal and protect against environmental wear
Site setup and welfare management, ensuring safe and compliant working conditions throughout the project duration

The Crown was successfully refurbished with minimal disruption to operations. The internal quarters were refreshed to a high standard, while the external works significantly improved the building’s appearance and longevity. All works were completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
